NJ recently passed a law requiring every Licensed Tree Expert and Licensed Tree Care Operator to obtain 32 Continuing Education credits every two years. So where do you get these credits? One way is to register for the classes below. The number of credits is listed beside each class. This is the number you receive for both the LTE and LTCO requirement.
NJ Licensed Tree Expert continuing education classes:
September 24, 2018, Basic Chain Saw Safety – 3 credits
November 8 – 9, 2018, Introduction to Plant Identification – 11 credits
November 15, 2018, Diseases and Pests of Trees – 5.25 credits
November 27 and 28, 2018, Large Tree Climbing & Rigging – 12 credits
November 30, 2018, Hazardous Tree Idntification – 5 credits
December 11, 2018, 1-day Integrated Pest Management– 4.5 credits
December 11-13, 2018, 3-day Integrated Pest Management – 15 credits
January 4 – March 15, 2019, Landscape Plants (11-day course) – 15 credits
February 20, 2019, Tree Planting – 5 credits
February 21, 2019, Tree Pruning – 5 credits
February 26, 2019, Managing Insect Pests of Ornamental Plants – 4 credits
March 14, 2019, Hazardous Tree identification – 5 credits
March 25, 2019, Introduction to Pruning – 4, credits
March 29, 2019, Advanced Pruning – 3.5 credits

I chose Fama Tree Service, LLc in Bergenfield, NJ. He and his workers were wonderful. Great Service. Edgar has a wonderful personality. I will be using him again next yr for tree trimming etc.
